Overview
In early December 2021, MFAT will be releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify a Delivery Partner to support the Tonga Health Workforce Activity. The RFP will close late January 2022.
The Tongan health sector faces structural and clinical challenges that impact its ability to deliver universal health coverage for Tongan communities. As a result, the Tonga Health Activity has been established to support and develop health outcomes for Tongan communities by improving access to timely and quality health services, provided by a well-trained, cohesive and supported workforce.
In early December 2021, the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade will be releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on the Government Electronic Tender Site (GETS) to identify a Delivery Partner to support the Tonga Health Workforce Activity. The RFP will close late January 2022.
