RECRUITMENT OF A PACIFIC E-COMMERCE M&E AND GOVERNANCE OFFICER (CONSULTANT)
The Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIF) is inviting tenders from interested English-speaking applicants for the position of Pacific E-commerce Governance and M&E Officer (Consultant).
The main activities for this assignment include assisting the PIF E-commerce Unit to deliver its Multi-Annual Work Plan 2024-27. This entails, among other things, (1) coordinating, planning and convening of the Pacific E-commerce Committee and its two Sub-committees (Private Sector and Development Partners); (2) coordinating, planning and convening of the Pacific E-commerce Alliance; (3) managing the M&E Framework for the regional and national strategies; (4) managing the Pacific E-commerce Portal; and (5) producing clear and high-quality material to promote the programs and projects under the Pacific E-commerce Initiative.
We are looking for an English-speaking consultant with recognized qualifications in Economics, Development Studies, Law or Business, with experience in supporting projects, programs or initiatives in Development, stakeholders’ engagement and monitoring and evaluation, and preferably with experience in Pacific countries and regional institutions.

INFORMATION

- Are financially solvent and able to conduct business operations in a professional and successful manner;
- Are not involved in any court proceedings which may affect their ability to conduct business or deliver the services tendered; and
- Do not appear on the World Bank’s listing of ineligible firms.
