REQUEST FOR TENDER
Moodle And eLearning Design Consultant
BACKGROUND
The Intra-ACP PACRES is a multi-donor and multi-implementing agency programme with the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) being one of the implementing agencies. The PACRES is fully aligned with the Framework for Resilient Development in the Pacific (FRDP), which is the Pacific region’s strategic framework for resilient development using an integrated and multi-stakeholder approach to climate change and disaster risk management. Its overall objective is to increase the resilience of Pacific ACP countries to climate change and achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals in particular Goal 13.
In 2022, PACRES through funding from European Union, developed and delivered a tailormade Climate Resilience for Sustainability programme consisting of 12 modules delivered in two stages. The programme was developed following interests from the private sector and youths through responses received from a survey.
To ensure that the benefits of this programme continue well after the closure of the project, PACRES is now seeking the services of an experienced course developer and Moodle and eLearning design consultant to develop an online learning platform and convert new and existing offline training materials to eLearning, in line with outcomes expected to be achieved from the project. The eLearning platform is to remain online and accessible for three years.
